Serving and measuring the site
Vercel Inc. hosts this site and receives technical information needed to deliver it, including your IP address and browser requests. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights also measure visits and performance without analytics cookies or local storage. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable site and understanding its aggregate use (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you email us about privacy, we use your contact details and message to respond and fulfil our legal obligations; they are kept for the time needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations.
Optional Google Analytics
Only after you accept, Google Analytics 4 receives page views, site interactions, browser and device information and cookie identifiers to help us understand visits and improve this site. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Neither the Google tag nor its measurement requests load before acceptance. Without JavaScript, Google Analytics stays off.
This permission is for analytics, not advertising. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remain denied; Google signals and ad personalisation signals are disabled. We do not enable cross-domain tracking between the properties.
What is stored and for how long
After acceptance, cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier distinguish browsers for analytics. They are scoped to this host and expire one year after they are set, without extending that expiry on later visits. Withdrawing consent removes this site’s analytics cookies.
lanzarote-luxury-villa.analytics — One local-storage entry remembers your acceptance or refusal and its date for 180 days. It is not an identifier or a cookie and is not sent to the server. After that period we ask again. Clearing this site’s data also clears your choice; if storage is blocked, the answer only applies to the current page.
Cookie lifetime is not the retention period of data already received by Google. That period depends on the Google Analytics account settings; contact the controller for information about retention and deletion. Vercel handles technical data under its service and data-processing terms.
Rejecting or withdrawing consent
Accept and Reject are available in the notice with equal prominence. You can change your decision at any time using Cookies at the foot of every page. Rejection keeps Google Analytics off; withdrawal stops collection, removes its cookies and reloads the page to unload the Google tag. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Both property links remain available without consent. Reopened preferences also require a decision before the window closes.
Providers and international transfers
Vercel and, only with analytics consent, Google receive the data described above. Their processing can involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, including to the United States. The providers’ data-processing terms describe their safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can ask the controller for information about those safeguards. We do not sell this information or use it to make automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You can write to the email above to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where applicable, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency without contacting us first.
